I bought a Sony VAIO VGN-FW280J / H 16. 4-Inch Laptop (2. 26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor, 4GB RAM, 7200 RPM 320 GB Hard Drive, BD-RW, Vista Premium) Gray, in May 2009 for the low price of $ 999. 99. I did not open the window for about a month, because I have 2 other laptops HP.Poi Apple and Sony have used this for about 2 months as a desktop, but not too much, so I did not move or take this Sony on th go. Then, to somehow build the humidity inside the LCD, I think because of the heat, I contacted Sony Support, they asked me to send a unit of Sony Repair in San Diego, I’ve done and who received the unit on 10. 05. 2009. Yesterday 10. 20. 2009 at 8 I received an email saying that the repair estimate is USD 699. 99 plus tax, whaaaaaat?. . . I called immediately asked them to send it again, this is crazy. . . I will not go into details, but I will tell you that every time I use it I discover something new that I like. About the battery life so that this is a great laptop is not meant to be carryed about, so if you are looking for battery life buy some ‘netbooks, will last 10 hours they say, however, to me its a great buy and I like it a lot.

Posted 09 Feb 2010 at 10:28 am ¶I bought a notebook FW in November 2008 and the keyboard is not in the month of August 2009. Service was responsive and replaced it. In January 2010. The keyboard does not have a time and Sony will not cover because the computer is “out of warranty.” I have another brand that is still working after 8 years. One year of life is scandalous!
Posted 09 Feb 2010 at 12:16 pm ¶Im totally impressed, is the best way to have never had a laptop, the screen is excellent, great for gaming, it makes no sounds at all, great keyboard, decent sound, BluRay is great, wireless HDMI is really smooth, i just love it, and this is from a Mac user.
